 Customer Service / Planning Coordinator Job Purpose

Our Coordinators are at the heart of our project team, working with the engineers, project managers and all other areas of the project business team to plan, supply, analyse and manage project information on behalf of the various stakeholders.

This role would suit a Project Co-ordinator, Planning Co-ordinator or Scheduling Co-ordinator.

Trafford, Manchester

Reporting to: 

Planning Team Leader

Customer Service / Planning Co-ordinator : Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Complete daily administration and commissioning on existing projects
• Using job management system to ‘plan’ installs for projects
• Create jobs and inventory requests on the job management system
• Import vehicles into the job management system using import tool (Project Manager to authorise location and product description prior to import)
• Provide excellent customer service to our customers
• Liaise with customers/suppliers e.g. scheduled/re-scheduled dates for engineer visits, forward customers updated spreadsheets etc.
• Handling customer queries and issues, liaising with the Project Manager for direction
• Ensuring that any email correspondence in relation to projects is forwarded to the project office email and relevant Project Manager email
• Book accommodation for company staff when required
• Other duties which may be assigned from time to time

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • A friendly, patient and professional manner with a calm and focused attitude towards workload
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Ability to prioritise workload and multi-task
  • Good time-management skills

Customer Service / Planning Co-ordinator Coordinator : Salary & Benefits

• Salary – £19,750 p.a. (dependent on experience)
• Hours – 8.30 a.m. – 5.00 p.m. (Mon – Fri)
• Holidays – a very generous 30 days (incl. Bank Holidays) to start, increasing annually to 35 days
• Pension scheme

• The office is conveniently located to travel by car or public transport and free parking is available
