Billy McNamara, sponsored by Handsfree, fought in the ABA Senior Novice Championships semi-final at Cedar Mount Sports Hall in Gorton on 6th October.
Despite losing on a controversial majority decision to Ansul Hadid of Gorton Amateur Boxing Club he will be returning to the ring in November.
