Handsfree Group attended the 2016 TIP-ex and TANK-ex shows at the Harrogate International Centre. Where we visited Install customer Alfred Hymas Ltd. who’ve recently had the safety and efficiency of their fleet enhanced with the installation of Live View Hard Drive Systems, in cab communication and left turn alarms. All specified and fitted to the highest standard by Install a division of Handsfree Group.
Handsfree engineers fitted a DVR camera system to cover each driver blind spot, along with a rear view camera to help ease trailer loading. The system not only saves lives but also ensures fleet vehicles are protected against liability claims.
A Side Sensor Detection system was also installed to increase safety when the vehicle is turning or manoeuvring at low speed. Together, the solution gained FORS accreditation, blind spots, and driver help.
