The Beacon mast sharing project between UK mobile network operators (MNO) Vodafone and 02 has successfully increased their geographic 4G coverage and reduced the capital cost for both companies.
The specialist team at Dynamic worked in close collaboration with the UK’s largest network support services provider – Mono Consultants, to support the MNO duo across England and Scotland, in their essential implementation of Huawei’s latest 4G equipment and site alarms, helping them achieve the coverage boost they needed.
It was imperative to the project that Huawei’s BTS3900L(AL) series cabinet was received, installed, commissioned and integrated across more than 100 sites on time and in budget.
Working hand in hand, the specialist Dynamic team and Mono Consultants were able to keep track of all site assets using APP technology, increase site delivery volumes and efficiently support the projects integration schedule in what was a critical project time.
Smart-Hop handoff mechanism
Highly skilled, experienced and dedicated Dynamic engineers commissioned the BTS3900 Huawei cabinets and helped in the fine tuning of site parameters, across the transitional region, which reduced handoff delays and resulted in a swift Smart HOP, CIAG (ISOP) for more than 100 new sites on time.
Fast deployment was a high priority project deliverable for the MNO duo to ensure sites went on air in line with project expectations, while ensuring that high quality engineer standards were audited and upheld.
Working alongside each other Dynamic and Mono were able to achieve timely access to the rooftop, remote and greenfield sites, through the ARQIVA Gateway and complete implementation on time, further securing Mono’s legacy performance of top scores in the Huawei’s partner performance programme.
